How it works

No catch. Here’s the whole thing.

You answer eight questions. We match you with one clinic. The clinic pays us for the introduction, and cannot pay to be chosen.

How it works

Three steps, one clinic

  1. 1

    Answer 8 questions

    2 minutes

  2. 2

    We find your match

    within 24 hours

  3. 3

    You're introduced

on WhatsApp, with a booked slot

One clinic, not a list. If it isn’t right, tell Dana and we look again. Most people never need to.

The check

The Dana Picks 12-point check

Every clinic is put through the same twelve, and through it again every six months.

Licence and standing

  • 1Facility licence with the DHA or DoH, checked against the register rather than taken on trust.
  • 2Licence of the practitioner who would treat you, checked by name — licences are individual, not just the clinic's.
  • 3Five years of practice in the UAE, with no recent change of legal entity.

Competence on your exact procedure

  • 4Five hundred procedures minimum on the treatment you asked about, not on the speciality in general.
  • 5The practitioner performs that procedure at least weekly.
  • 6Equipment and technology declared, then verified on site.

Commercial transparency

  • 7A written, itemised quote before any commitment.
  • 8What the quote excludes, stated up front.
  • 9A written policy on revisions, touch-ups and follow-up.

Patient experience

  • 10A hundred verified five-star reviews minimum.
  • 11First-response time measured, not declared.
  • 12Every patient we introduce is called afterwards. A clinic that drops below the bar leaves the network.

We never publish which clinic this is. Naming them is how patients end up back where they started.

A clinic that drops below the bar leaves the network. That is the part that makes staying in it mean something.

The journey

What Dana does at every step

A search ends at the click. This is the part that carries on afterwards.

  1. Day 0, after the quiz

    Your match is confirmed

Dana confirms the match, explains why this clinic, and sends the slot.

  2. Day 0

    Before you go in

A preparation sheet built from your answers: the questions worth asking in consultation.

  3. Day 1

    Consultation booked

If the clinic has not come back within 24 hours, Dana chases them, then looks again.

  4. After the consultation

    You receive a quote

Send it to Dana. You get told what is missing against what is normally quoted, and what usually gets billed on top.

  5. Before the procedure

    Scheduling and preparation

Reminders, a preparation checklist, and help with the insurance paperwork.

  6. Day 1, 7 and 30

    Recovery and check-ups

Dana checks in, and reminds you about the follow-up appointments.

  7. Any time

    Language

If the consultation did not happen in your language, Dana relays.

  8. Any time

    Second opinion

Ask, and we arrange one at another clinic in the network.

Dana handles logistics, preparation and follow-up. She gives no clinical advice, no diagnosis and no interpretation of results — every medical question goes to your clinic.

Why not just search

What a search engine cannot do for you

  • One form, not five

Searching means filling in five forms and being called by five call centres for six months. Here your details go to one clinic, and only once you say yes.

  • Search ranks by ad budget. We rank by fit

The top result is bought. Ours is not for sale, and it cannot be — see how we are paid.

  • We know who turns patients away

A clinic telling you that you are not a good candidate makes for terrible advertising. It is the first sign of a serious practice, and you cannot see it anywhere online.

  • We know who has room this week

Actual waiting times are written on no website. We ask, and we keep asking.

  • We filter on things you cannot search for

The practitioner's language, their gender, instalment plans, insurance handling, how closely you are guided. No search engine indexes any of it.

  • We know what a quote leaves out

What gets billed on top is the biggest source of unpleasant surprises, and it only becomes visible once you have read a great many quotes.

  • We stay after the introduction

A search ends at the click. Dana is still answering three weeks later.

How we make money

And why it can’t corrupt your match

Clinics pay us when we introduce a patient. You pay nothing.

And no clinic can pay to be picked. Not because we’re nice, but because it would break the business.

A clinic stays with us if the patients we send are the right ones for them. A patient recommends us if the clinic we sent them to was the right one for them. Send the wrong patient to the wrong clinic and we lose both sides at once. There is no version of this where selling your match is worth more than getting it right.

That’s the whole company, in one paragraph.

Questions

What people ask us first

Is it really free?

For you, yes. Clinics pay us when we introduce a patient. You are never charged, and nothing is added to your bill at the clinic.

Who sees my details?

One clinic — the one we match you with — and only once you have agreed. We do not sell your details on, and you will not be called by five call centres.

Do I have to book anything?

No. We introduce you and hold a slot. If you decide not to go, nothing happens.

Why one clinic and not a list?

A list puts the work back on you, which is the thing that was hard in the first place. If the one we choose isn't right, tell Dana and we look again.

How do you choose the clinics?

Against the same twelve checks every time, re-run every six months. Licences by name, volume on your exact procedure, written quotes, and measured response times.

Do you cover Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?

Yes. Tell us which emirate suits you and we match within it where we can.

Does this work with my insurance?

Say so in the questions and we match you with a clinic that handles claims rather than leaving them to you.

What if the clinic isn't right for me?

Tell Dana. We look again, at no cost, and the second clinic is already held in reserve.

One clinic. Yours.

Eight questions, two minutes, and your match within 24 hours.
