What's covered

Every part of invisalign & clear aligners

Tell us which of these you're considering and we'll shortlist clinics that actually perform it.

  • Invisalign full treatment

The complete course for moderate to complex cases, typically 12 to 24 months of aligners changed every one to two weeks.

    From €1,800

  • Invisalign Lite / Express

Shorter courses for mild crowding or relapse after previous braces. Fewer aligners, lower price, narrower scope.

    From €1,200

  • Other clear aligner systems

Spark, ClearCorrect and clinic-own systems. Often cheaper than Invisalign for comparable cases — worth asking what a clinic uses and why.

    From €900

  • Attachments and IPR

Small tooth-coloured bumps that let aligners grip, and light filing between teeth to create space. Part of most plans; confirm they're in the price.

  • Retainers

Fixed or removable, worn after treatment. Teeth move back without them, so treat retainers as part of the cost, not an extra.

    From €150

  • Whitening after alignment

Commonly done once teeth are in their final position, since aligners make tray-based whitening straightforward.

    From €150

The destinations worth considering

Each has a different trade-off between price, travel and how easy follow-up is.

  • Spain

Orthodontics-focused practices, short flights, EU patient rights.

  • Türkiye

Lowest prices, and clinics used to planning around a patient who visits rarely.

  • Hungary

Good middle ground on price and travel time.

  • In your own country

Some cases don't justify travelling; we'll say so when that's true.

What we check

The questions you shouldn’t have to know to ask

Most of what separates a good outcome from a bad one is settled before you travel, in details a first-time patient has no reason to think of.

  • The clinic is registered and licensed in its country, and we have seen the paperwork.

  • The doctor who would treat you is named, licensed, and actually performs this procedure.

  • The quote states what is included and what is not, so two clinics can be compared side by side.

  • That an orthodontist, not a general dentist, is planning the case.

  • How remote check-ups work between visits, and how many in-person appointments you'll actually need.

  • Whether refinements — extra aligners if teeth don't track — are included or billed later.

Questions

What people ask us about this

Do I have to fly out repeatedly?

Usually not. Most of the treatment is you changing aligners at home. Clinics generally want one visit to scan and start, then remote monitoring, then a visit near the end. Ask for the number in writing before booking.

Is it really Invisalign?

Ask directly. Invisalign is one brand among several. Others are legitimate and often cheaper, but a clinic advertising Invisalign should be able to show its provider status.

What happens if my teeth don't move as planned?

Refinement aligners are made. The question is who pays. Some clinics include a set number of refinements, others charge from the first one — it should be in the quote.

Can aligners fix my case at all?

Not every case. Severe bite problems, some rotations, and cases needing extractions may need fixed braces or surgery. A clinic that says yes to everything before seeing a scan is a warning sign.
