Can everything be done in one operation?
Sometimes, but longer operations carry more risk, and some surgeons will refuse to combine beyond a certain point. A surgeon who agrees to every combination without hesitation is telling you something.
How long before I can fly home?
Usually seven to ten days after abdominal surgery, and your surgeon decides. Budget for the whole stay, not just the operation, or the saving evaporates.
Should I wait until I'm done having children?
Most surgeons say yes, particularly for muscle repair, since a later pregnancy can undo it. Worth asking directly rather than discovering it afterwards.
What about breastfeeding afterwards?
