Most of what separates a good outcome from a bad one is settled before you travel, in details a first-time patient has no reason to think of.
The clinic is registered and licensed in its country, and we have seen the paperwork.
The doctor who would treat you is named, licensed, and actually performs this procedure.
The quote states what is included and what is not, so two clinics can be compared side by side.
How many grafts are quoted, and whether the number is a maximum or an estimate.
Which parts the surgeon performs personally and which are done by technicians — the biggest hidden difference between clinics.
That follow-up runs 12 months, because that is when the result is actually judged.

Why do prices vary by a factor of five?
Mostly surgeon involvement and session size. The cheapest packages are technician-led with many patients a day. That isn't automatically bad, but you should know which you're buying.
How many grafts do I need?
It depends on the area and your donor density, and it cannot be settled from a photo. Treat any number quoted before an examination as marketing.
When will I see the result?
Transplanted hair sheds in the first weeks, regrows from month three or four, and is judged at twelve months. Anyone promising a finished look in three months is not describing hair biology.
Will I need a second session?
Often, especially with a large area or continuing loss. Ask up front what a second session would cost — it's cheaper to know now.
