LASIK
A flap is lifted, the cornea reshaped underneath, the flap replaced. The most common method, with a fast recovery.

A keyhole method removing a small lenticule through a tiny incision, with no flap. Often suggested for dry-eye-prone patients.

Surface treatment with no flap, used when corneas are thin. Recovery takes longer and is less comfortable, but the outcome is comparable.

Myopia correction
The most frequent reason people come. How much can be corrected depends on your prescription and corneal thickness, not on price.

Most of what separates a good outcome from a bad one is settled before you travel, in details a first-time patient has no reason to think of.
The clinic is registered and licensed in its country, and we have seen the paperwork.
The doctor who would treat you is named, licensed, and actually performs this procedure.
The quote states what is included and what is not, so two clinics can be compared side by side.

How long do I need to stay?
Typically three to four days: consultation and scans, surgery the next day, a check the day after. Don't book a flight home for the same evening — clinics will refuse to operate if you do.
How do I know I'm actually suitable?
Corneal thickness, prescription stability and dry eye all decide it, and all need measuring. A clinic that confirms suitability before scanning you is selling, not assessing.
What if I need a top-up later?
Enhancements are needed in a small share of cases. Ask whether yours would be free, time-limited, or charged — and get the answer in the quote.
Is it worth travelling for?
It's the smallest basket we cover, so if a local clinic quotes close to an abroad price once flights and hotel are counted, staying home is the better answer. We'll tell you when the maths doesn't work.
